Emails don't arrive at Outlook, Hotmail, Live or MSN

Microsoft's email (Outlook, Hotmail, Live, MSN) sometimes blocks or delays emails from smaller websites like ours. It's on Microsoft's side — we can't change it. Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo and Proton work fine.

  1. Make a free Gmail account at gmail.com if you don't have one (or use iCloud / Yahoo / Proton).
  2. Open https://vvvs.uk/dashboard → Account → Email.
  3. Type your new Gmail address and tap Send code.
  4. Open Gmail, copy the 6-digit code and type it in. Done — your email is confirmed.
  5. Still nothing after 2 minutes? Check Spam and Promotions in Gmail, then tap Send code again.

The email code never came

Codes usually arrive within a minute, but some inboxes filter them.

  1. Wait 1–2 minutes and check Spam, Junk and Promotions.
  2. Search your inbox for vvvs.uk.
  3. Tap Send code again — only the newest code works.
  4. Using Outlook / Hotmail? Switch to Gmail (see the issue above).

Music doesn't start by itself on iPhone

Phones (especially iPhones) don't let any website play sound until the visitor taps once. Every website has this rule.

  1. Open Dashboard → Background → Enter screen and turn on Click to enter.
  2. Press Save. Now music starts the moment a visitor taps.
  3. Check your phone isn't on silent and the volume is up.

Spotify only plays 30 seconds

Spotify only plays full songs for people who are logged in to Spotify in that browser. That's Spotify's rule.

  1. Open Dashboard → Music & lyrics.
  2. Use Find a song (type the song + artist) — it plays the full song for everyone.
  3. Press Save.

My Discord status or activity doesn't show

Discord only shares your status with our bot if you're in our Discord server and your status isn't set to Invisible.

  1. Join our Discord server (the link is at the bottom of the site).
  2. Open Dashboard → Discord and tap Link again.
  3. In Discord: Settings → Activity Privacy → turn on Share your detected activities.
  4. Set your status to Online, Idle or Do Not Disturb (not Invisible).

My link preview on Discord / Instagram shows the old picture

Apps save (cache) link previews for a while, so a change takes time to show there.

▸ Explain solution
  1. Change your picture in Dashboard → Embed & SEO and press Save.
  2. When you share the link, add ?v=2 at the end (e.g. https://vvvs.uk/yourname?v=2) — apps see it as a new link.
  3. Next time change it to ?v=3, and so on.

Log in with Discord doesn't work inside Instagram / TikTok

The browsers built into Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat block Discord's login window.

  1. Tap the ⋯ (top right) in that app.
  2. Choose Open in Safari / Open in browser.
  3. Log in with Discord there.

My 2-step login code says it's wrong

Authenticator codes depend on your phone's clock. If it's a little off, the codes don't match.

  1. iPhone: Settings → General → Date & Time → turn on Set Automatically. Android: Settings → Date & time → Automatic.
  2. Use the newest code for vvvs.uk in your app. If you added vvvs.uk more than once, delete the old ones.
  3. Lost your phone? Use one of your recovery codes on the login page.

My photo or video won't upload

Very large videos go over the size limit, and some phone formats can't be shown in browsers.

  1. Photos: upload from the dashboard — iPhone HEIC photos are converted automatically.
  2. Videos: keep them short (under ~30 seconds) and save as MP4.
  3. Storage full? Delete old files in Dashboard → Files (VIP gets more space).

My page still looks old after saving

Your browser can show a saved copy of the page for a little while.

  1. Make sure you pressed Save (the bar at the bottom).
  2. Fully close the tab and open your page again.
  3. Still old? Open it in a private tab — if it's right there, it's just your browser's copy.

My friend can't open my page

Your page may be set to show only in some countries, to members only, or behind a password.

  1. Open Dashboard → Privacy & countries.
  2. Check Anonymous mode, Members only and Password lock.
  3. Turn off what you don't want, or add their country, then press Save.

I paid with crypto but nothing happened yet

Crypto payments need a few confirmations on the network before they count — that can take a few minutes (sometimes longer when the network is busy).

  1. Wait 10–20 minutes.
  2. Use /checkpayment in our Discord (or Check my payment in your ticket) — it checks again.
  3. Still stuck after an hour? Open a /ticket with your order ID.
